Ted Cruz returns to the Senate but no one is happy to see him.
It is not a secret that Republican Senator Ted Cruz is perhaps the least like member of the mostly egotistical and mostly old boys club that is the United States Senate.
Even so, Ted Cruz’s return to his regular job as the junior as well as all but rookie senator for the State of Texas after being bested – if not also battered – by political neophyte Donald Trump during Cruz’s failed bit for the Republican Presidential nomination was even more chilly than even Quincy Quarry had expected.

Not only are his Capital Hill colleagues tired of Ted being Ted, his return to Capital Hill got off to a very rocky start from the moment he parked his ride on Capital Hill.
So rocky, in fact, that Late Show Host Steven Colbert was left gobsmacked by having to suggest that Senator Cruz needed to move even further to the right.
Whoddathunk that such was possible?
Regardless, see the following video to confirm Colbert’s comments.

Other reports report that others felt similarly about both Ted Cruz’s return to the Senate.
For example, former member of both the House of Representative and U.S. Senator from California, Vice President of the United States as well as President of the United States Richard M. Nixon.
Needless to say, no one knows more about spending time in political exile that President Nixon.
Then again, so too does Nixon also know more about coming back from political graveyards.
