Ted Cruz beaten in this week’s New York Primary by a person no longer running for the Republican presidential nomination.
Apparently Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz’s  diss of “New York values” came back to haunt him at the polls on primary election day in the State of New York.
Near complete polling results from the Sixteenth New York Congressional District found Cruz trailing Dr. Ben Carson, who dropped out of the race weeks ago but not before New York printed its primary ballots.

While by New York election law, the votes cast for Carson are not included in the final official results and which are then used to determine Republican convention delegate allocations, preliminary voting results found Cruz trailing Carson by an adjusted relative comparison of over 13% when only these two candidates’ vote totals are considered.
Regardless, it would clearly appear that New York voters do not much care for Ted Cruz’s values.
