Ted Cruz ignored at New York GOP VIP gala.
Last night Republican Presidential nominee hopeful Ted Cruz faced a tough crowd at a Manhattan Republican Party VIP event.
The event was attended by roughly 800 party loyalists who dined on a $1,000.00 a plate rubber chicken dinner.
Fortunately for attendees, one media report of the event noted that the wine was flowing.
Per a quote by an unnamed Cruz supporter who was trying to spin things, “Everyone had had like six glasses of wine, and it was late and people hadn’t eaten.”
As for Cruz, however, multiple media reports report that not only did event attendees continue chatting as well as dining during his turn at the podium, there were also problems with the audio system in the event hall during his presentation.
Apparently, New York values came home to roost upon Texas Senator Ted Cruz.

Some reports also suggest that fellow Republican contender Governor John Kasich was also ignored by some during his speech, but at least there were no reports of problems for him with the hotel banquet room’s audio system.
At the same time, per a fair sampling of the various media accounts of this event, none of them provide any sense of how Donald Trump was received by the crowd.
