Quincy Quarry sideways traffic light exposé gets (relatively timely, ed.) results?
While the still knocked sideways and thus dangerously leaning street light on a one of the corners at the intersection of Hancock Street and Hannon Parkway continues to threatened public safety in the long unsafe Quincy Center, in the wake of yet another hard hitting Quincy Quarry exposé on the initial jerry-rigged attempt to repair a sideways traffic light at the busy intersection of Coddington, Temple and Washington Streets in Quincy Center, the Department of Public Works undertook a second try to actually effect relatively timely as well as apparently effective repairs to the inexplicably sideways traffic light.

Needless to say, the Quarry newsroom was most surprised, if not also left gobsmacked over this relatively prompt as well as reasonably adequate second repair rework effort.
In fact, so much so that the Quincy Quarry City Editor briefly considered having a staff reporter reach out to Department of Public Works Commissar Dan “Spanky” Raymondi for comment on this unprecedented event before realizing that Spanky would surely abuse this all but miraculous event to drone on and on and on some more about the heroic and hardworking (few, ed.) women and (at least some not exactly hardworking, ed.) men at the DPW.
Even so, the Quarry would be remiss if it did not cover this startling event: DPW actually fixing something in a relatively timely manner, even if it did take (at least, ed.) two tries.
