Alleged drugged driver and admitted City Hall smacker.   A Quincy Police mugshot

Drugged driver whacks Quincy City Hall and then confesses.

In a story that quickly becomes even stranger than usual – even for a story in the Q, an alleged drugged driver is said to have unilaterally as well as willingly admitted to police smacking his vehicle into the Quincy City Hall annex.

As the driver is from Marshfield as opposed to – say – Revere, such might explain his apparently unilateral confession about the whacking.

In fact, the smacker is said to have approached and then admitted doing so to Quincy Police officers who had arrived on the scene after someone had called in the damage done to the annex as a suspected incident of vandalism.

Apparently, the confessed building smacker admitted to the responding officers that he had smacked the City Hall annex building with his vehicle while he was trying to turn it around while he was in the City Hall VIP parking lot.

Fortunately, as the accident occurred midday during the Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr. Monday federal holiday, no city employees were injured, much less were any vehicles struck as it would appear that no one was inside of City Hall at the time of the smacking or otherwise relying on the parking lot when the building was struck.

Unfortunately, officers noted that the confessed building smacker was a bit unsteady on his feet and thus called for back-up to conduct a suspected under the influence assessment which the smacker failed.

Further unfortunate, police on the scene also spotted a syringe near the scene of smacking and reportedly collected it for examination as possible evidence against the smacker.

While Quincy Quarry did not bother reaching out to Koch Maladministration spokesmodel Pinocchio Walkbacker for comment on the damage done to the annex, it is only reasonable to suspect that the Koch Maladministration will soon be talking up the actually minimal damage done as making it necessary to (expensively, ed.) remodeled the annex and just as is the case with the still (and already expensively, ed.) underway remodeling of the old City Hall building.

At the same time while on the scene, the Quincy Quarry news team on the scene spotted a new as well as an upgrade Ford SUV from Quirk Ford and sporting municipal license plates parked in the Mayor’s reserved parking place.

Obvious mystery notwithstanding, again the Quarry did not bother to reach out to Koch Maladministration spokesmodel Pinocchio Walkbacker for clarification as to who is enjoying this new City ride as it knew that “no comment” would be his response if – that is – the Quarry was ever able to actually reach him.
