Quincy Quarry provides a Presidential Primary update
With the Iowa Caucuses happening in three weeks and New Hampshire primary in four weeks, the drafting behind early front runners, checking opponents into the boards and the usual sorts of other political trafficking by candidates is heating up faster than a gas grill in a parking lot at Gillette Stadium before a Patriots playoff game.
Some candidates are trying to hold tight to their support, other appear to be losing theirs and at least one appears to finally be enjoying some traction.
To handicap the races in advance of tonight’s final State of the Union speech by Barack Obama, Quincy Quarry has yet again reached out to the most gimlet eyed as well as gimlet loving political prognosticator of all time – Dick Nixon – for his input.

For those asking, none of them like Mrs. Clinton, the president included, and Biden remembers the leaks against him.

By the numbers Rubio is in there but let’s be honest with ourselves; he has a charley horse at mile 18.
— Richard M. Nixon (@dick_nixon) January 12, 2016
As I’ve said before, the political play is not Rubio’s attendance record, it’s that he thinks the job he was elected to doesn’t count.

Cruz’s name is often mentioned with mine. I’ve had enough of it and we’re going to respond in print. The details will be here.

People say politics is a game of being all things to all people, but if you try to do that you inevitably fail.
