MBTA New Year's schedule

The MBTA has announced its service schedules for New Year’s Eve (Thursday, Dec. 31) and New Year’s Day (Friday, Jan. 1, 2016).

Late-night service will not be available on New Year’s Day. Customers should also note that the MBTA will not collect fares after 8 p.m. on New Year’s Eve.

Parking at the Wellington surface lot and the Alewife, Braintree, Quincy Adams and Wonderland garages will be pay on entry and cash only on New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31. Credit cards and garage TAP cards will not be accepted.
