Steve Harvey, you’re fired!
Just about everyone in the world, if not the entire universe knows that event Master of Ceremonies for the Miss Universe contest Steve Harvey blew it when he first announced the winner of this year’s beauty pageant.
To his credit, Mr. Harvey corrected things as soon as he realized the error of his ways and however surely humiliating it must have been to do so on a television gala event broadcast live around the world.

Missed, however, in essentially all of the coverage of this gaffe was the timbre of the questions asked of the pageant finalists.
In a curious change from the usual softball questions usually asked of beauty pageant contestants, this time the questions ranged from pointed ones on gun control, addressing international terrorists and other such questions asked in ways that surely would make Miss Universe pageant co-owner Donald Trump happy as regards further titillating his core campaign supporters.
