Trump called on the carpet by the disabled reporter whom Trump misquoted and then ridiculed.
Republican Presidential nomination candidate Donald Trump continues to take incoming fire over his widely discredited claim that Muslims danced in the streets of New Jersey after the 9/11 World Trade Center attack.
In this case, the then Washington Post reporter whom Trump cites as the source of his claim per a 2001 story in the Post says that he wrote no such thing and which no one who actually reads the story can find mentioned.
Adding insult to injury, various reports cite Trump as more recently appearing to imitate the reporter’s suffering from Arthrogryposis, a congenital disorder that stiffens joints and weakens muscles.

Disability notwithstanding, the reporter has gone on to become a respected investigative reporter for the New York Times.
In response to Trump’s outrageous acts, the reporter noted: “The sad part about it is,” he told The Washington Post this week, “it didn’t in the slight bit jar or surprise me that Donald Trump would do something this low-rent, given his track record.”

Conversely, at last report Trump’s presidential campaign had not responded to requests for comment.

In the meanwhile, the Pew Research Center recently published its international polling findings on how the Islamic State in Syria and Iraq is typically profoundly disliked, often to the point of abject disdain, by Muslims around the world.
