– Quincy Election News from Quincy Quarry News

Quincy voting machine problems continue to be reported.

First, an apparently unreliable as well as arguably misnamed AccuVote voting machine at Atherton Hough Elementary School went down for the count shortly after the polls opened this morning.

As reported earlier in Quincy Quarry, a “manual” vote processing alternative plan was initiated given the breakdown.

Particularly troubling was word from this polling place that a supporter of the embattled incumbent Mayor Koch is handling the ballots during the manual “processing” of ballots.

Further troubling, one of Quincy Quarry’s legion of Citizen Journalists now reports that a voting machine at the Lincoln-Hancock School has apparently also gone down for the count.

Quincy Quarry attempted to contact someone at City Hall for comment; however, no one answered the phone and the place was found all but deserted when the Quarry then dropped by to try to find anyone able to offer up official comment.

Apparently, Election Day in Quincy has become of the Hack High Holidays.

Regardless, expect Quincy Quarry to continue to follow this breaking badly hyper wicked local bad news of breaking voting machines until such time as perhaps the feds might come to the Q and perhaps impound them.

As always, Quincy Quarry seeks to break stones whenever, wherever and upon whomever such might be deserved.
