Quincy Police medical call at local cemetery

Quincy Police make medical call at Quincy’s Mount Wollaston Cemetery.
While the Quincy Quarry newsroom was monitoring the Quincy Police radio calls scanner on Sunday morning, around 11:15 a call came in that a medical emergency call needed in the veterans’ section area of the Mount Wollaston Cemetery and thus right across the street from police headquarters.
While cemeteries are invariably the final resting place following a fatal medical event, apparently the party suffering this medical emergency was found still alive as well as reported over the airwaves to be in transit to South Shore Hospital for treatment.

Although Quincy Quarry was unable to dispatch a photo team to the scene in time, one can only assume that perhaps a Police SUV cruiser responded to the scene and was so able to transport the assumed to be casketed cemetery resident to the hospital.
After all, it is an election year and duly embattled incumbent Mayor Thomas P. Koch is widely assumed to need all of the votes he can raise in Quincy’s long so-called Ward 7.
