Quincy Mayor Koch Curse cursing Boston 2024 2.0 proposal do-over?
As previously reported – if not also all but predicted by Quincy Quarry, it would appear that Boston 2024’s proposal to bring the Olympics to Boston in 2024 is all but doomed at this point.

Circling before the kill?

The warning signs are pervasive, if not also all but everywhere.
Other local media brethren are finally catching up to Quincy Quarry’s prior hart-hitting coverage with their own reporting of related stories.
Essentially all reports indicate that the coup de grâce is imminent for what in hindsight is clearly a problematic plan no matter which version of it is foisted upon the public and/or the United States Olympics Committee.
For example,  the Boston Herald is reporting that senior  members of United States Olympic Committee have scheduled a conference call for tomorrow to discuss the status of the clearly foundering Boston 2024.
Even the Boston broadsheet is finally offering up relatively hard-hitting similar coverage after arguably heretofore long playing the  role of the Boston Chamber of Commerce’s lead cheerleader for Boston 2024’s various proposals.

Expected USOC conference call agenda items are said to include discussing perhaps voiding Boston’s winning bid and then substituting the long rumored do-over of runner-up Los Angeles’s bid given the myriad of problems with Boston 2024’s proposal.
So what, apparently, for a certain fast talking New Yorker on the pro Boston 2024 debate team on Fox 25 last week who claimed that no such thing was under consideration by the USOC.
Similarly, the USOC is more widely reported as pressing for a quick decision from Governor Baker on his support – or not – of the Boston 2024 bid.
To date, however, Baker has steadfastly said that he withholding judgement until his review team finishes up its report next month.

Given Quincy Quarry’s familiarity with the Baker Administration, it can also report that there is little doubt that Charlie is refusing to take any calls from his reportedly former bff and now embattled Mayor Thomas P. Koch.
Off the record, apparently someone tied to the Corner Office leaked that someone said that only if Tommy can prove that he can spike a volleyball over a(n official height, ed.) net will Charlie take a call from Tommy.
