Salvation Army Santa visits Quincy Square during his usual summer vacation so as to get an early start on raising funds to help those in need.
Salvation Army Red Kettles have been an American tradition since 1891 and so helping to raise financial support for its social services programs, ranging from providing toys for deserving children,  coats for the homeless, food for the hungry as well as many other programs provided year-round.
If you can, please stop by, say hi to Santa and do what you can to help out.
It would also be appreciated if you told Santa that Quincy Quarry sent you as the QQ team could sure some brownie points with the Big Guy.
If it is too difficult to stop by, please consider instead making an online Red Kettle donation.
Either way, such is the least we can do out of respect to Santa’s giving up some of his vacation time to come to the Q.
