Quincy first responders respond to napping sunbather?
Quincy first responders responded in force Wednesday afternoon to an apparent report of someone napping in sun on a park bench at the intersection of Burgin and Hannon Parkways.
In exclusive photography provided to Quincy Quarry by one of its Citizen Journalist whistleblowers, first responders rolled out 5 vehicles to the scene of the suspected nap.
Unfortunately, the whistleblower could only digitally capture in a picture just two of the three police vehicles on the scene and only part of the ambulance but not any of the Quincy Fire Department fire truck that responded the scene of the nap.
Also unfortunate was the disruption of the apparent sunbather’s nap.
Additionally disruptive was how this massive roll out of vehicles by first responders tied up traffic for a time on two major arterial roadways in Quincy Center.
In turn, this traffic tie-up was was then followed shortly thereafter by an even more disruptive traffic tie-nearby in the heart of Quincy Center when organized labor held a well-organised flash mob protest denouncing duly embattled Mayor Thomas P. Koch over his alleged lack of support to see construction trades union members secure work at the various projects pending within his long sought redevelopment of Quincy Center.
