– News about Quincy MA from Quincy Quarry News.
Quincy traffic safety signs continue to be missing in action all over the Q
Considerable traffic safety signage was laid low all over the Q care of snow removal workers during the now past Winter of 2015.
Even so, one can only wonder why so many signs are still knocked over or missing so many weeks after their being so stricken.

Of even greater concern, both civilians and construction workers are so put at risk whenever they are out and about on the increasingly mean streets of Quincy.
Conversely, portable signage equipment has inexplicably been used to announce street sleeping in recent weeks.
While the hardworking team at Quincy Quarry can readily appreciate the appeal of taking a nap now and then, publicly as well as prominently announcing it in the middle of Burgin Parkway seems a bit much.

More importantly, as well as yet again, both general public and worker safety concerns remain of concern given that so many traffic signs remain variously hors de combat around the Q.
Further, and as is the case with an ongoing manner of class action lawsuit challenging allegedly improperly set local speed limits throughout the Commonwealth, drivers can readily claim a no-signage defense if they are cited for traffic violations wherever any specific traffic restrictions might be place but the appropriate signage is not.
In the meanwhile, one can only reasonably assume that it is only a matter of time before yet another pedestrian will end up on the losing end care of yet another traffic accident tragedy in the Q.

Regardless of the clear and obvious threat to public safety, Quincy Quarry saw no point in reaching out for comment from City of Quincy Department of Public Works Works Commissar Dan “Spanky” Raymondi as he never responds to inquiries from anyone tied to the Quarry nor to most anyone else whenever his department yet again Q’s up somewhere or other in the Q.
