– News about Quincy MA from Quincy Quarry News.
Quincy High School’s suspected parcourse is fraught with suspected construction site safety concerns.
In the wake of the catastrophic and expensive fire that need not have happened at the City Hall renovation work site as well as cost overruns and apparent work rules violations at both City Hall and Coddington Hall, one would like to hope that perhaps finally the City of Quincy would have figured things out, but apparently the Koch Maladministration has not.

As demonstrated by exclusive Quincy Quarry photography, the work site at the long suspect parcourse site and possible memorial parking lot is not only wide open, it is fraught with peril right next to the high school.
One can only properly fear that some high school student(s) may end up hurt at this should be closed off to the public city project construction work site.
Even more troubling, immediately adjacent to the dangerous work site access point, the Quarry found stray electrical wires exposed at the base of a high-power light fixture on the Quincy High School grounds.

Even more troubling yet, these wide open and thus stray electrical wires were all but right in front of the City of Quincy Public Buildings Department and which is responsible for city buildings’ maintenance.
One can only but perhaps imagine what PTO Helicopter Moms might do if a school student ends up light up by a stray electrical wire.
Expect Quincy Quarry to continue watching out for public safety on city property as – clearly – city officials are not doing so.
