– News about Quincy MA from Quincy Quarry News
Quincy residents have had to take snow in their own hands after the City of Quincy continues to drop the plow during this winter without any obvious end in sight.
While this example of Citizen Snow Plowing featured by Quincy Quarry is but one of many examples of local residents who have had to take the snow into their own hands, it is still only fair to add that this particular Citizen Snow Plower not only cleared the front curb and street out front, but also helped clear out the driveways and their street access for both adjacent neighbors as well as their direct street access of these driveways.

Given the recent brutal weather, neighbors being neighborly can only warm readers hearts this wicked cold winter.
Unfortunately, city street cleaning efforts along the rest of this particular street are on par with many other streets in town.
In other words, score the effort with a “snowman” quintuple bogey.
Conversely, it is only fair to yet again reiterate that the City has managed to maintain its perfect record of keeping the City Hall staph and suspected VIP free commuter parking spaces cleared to the pavement 24/7 since The Blizzard of 2015 over weekends, City Hall Snow Daze off, and even on a recent national holiday.
If only the City could do half fast as good a job on the many dog sled tracks around the Q that formerly were mostly two way residential streets.
