– News about Quincy MA from Quincy Quarry News
Quincy City Hall continues to be thoroughly plowed before the start of yet another suspected Snow Day in the Q.
The reason Quincy Quarry is noting “suspected” is that the City Hall twits in charge of the City’s Twitter feed and website have failed to note whether – or not – City Hall has reopened today.

Regardless, senior Koch Maladministration coatholders continue to affect working hard so as protect their ” . . . phony baloney jobs.”
That and seeing to it that both their own as well as long suspected VIP Koch supporters with free parking spaces for commuting on the T are yet again plowed down to the pavement even the T is yet again shutdown.
In the meanwhile, many Quincy residents continue to be all but housebound during what is increasingly looking to be the start of a new Ice Age.
The only positive news to report on the snow front is that those few Quincy residents how have been able to flee the Q report that main roadways outside of Quincy are open and clear as well as that many residential side streets – at least those outside of Boston – are in better than perhaps four wheel-only passable status.

In fact, one devoted Quincy Quarry reader reports that the Wampatuck Road/Chickataw Road/Hillside Street cut through through the Blue Hills Reservation is not only wide open once one passes out of City of Quincy plowing coverage, but also that this roadway makes for a pleasant drive for those both desperate and able to get out for much needed scenic drive.
Whether – or not – surely beyond stressed to max Quincy school student parents wish to go out to see even more snow is a whole matter.

Regardless, expect Quincy Quarry to continue to fearlessly cover the looking to be endless Winter of 2015.
At least it will so long as the dogs on its dog sled teams continue to mush through the increasingly narrow and snow pile-lined goat paths that pass for streets in the Q.
