Quincy High Parcourse to become cross country skiing track instead?
It is suspected that just maybe the Koch Maladministration is at least considering changing its plans for a long suspected parcourse in front of Quincy High School to instead be redone for use as a cross country skiing track.
With the suspected parcourse project now hopelessly behind Quincy Park & Forestry Executive Chris Cassani now hopelessly inoperative however tentative expectation that “new sod should be laid at the site by the end of September. He said the project – to include a new stone wall, benches and parking spaces – should be mostly finished and open to the public in November” and Globe Warming – at least as far as the Q is concerned – increasingly looking to be at least perhaps suspect, such a redo into a ski track does makes some potentially viable sense.

Positives including covering over the fact that the suspected parcourse is surely at least three months behind schedule as per usual Maladministration malpractice.
Such a change would also provide Mayor Koch was likely to be extremely well-controlled photo op.  For example, Quincy Quarry need not bother trying to get past event security.
At the same time, there are considerable downsides.
One is that such a change of plans to ski track would only remind locals that the Winter of 2015 is looking to herald the coming of a new Ice Age.

That and Quincy Quarry filing a Public Records request as to how much money had been both spent and obligated to be spent the money to date to tear down old Quincy High and then grade and sod up the site for the long suspected parcourse.
Expect Quincy Quarry to continue to cover this potential story as events continue to be played around within a City Hall increasingly desperate for any good news.
