– News about Quincy MA from Quincy Quarry News
Quincy’s city-owned and long controversial crèche figures have gone missing.
As Quincy Quarry has not picked up any all points bulletin for the missing family of Joseph and their three guests on its police radio scanner, it can only assume that the figures were gathered up for safekeeping and perhaps even as an over the top public safety precaution in the wake of the recent murderous attack on the Parisian offices of Charlie Hebdo.
On the other hand, Park and Forestry Department personnel did finally show up on January 15 to relieve Santa and Frosty from serving duty out in the cold until next year.

Unfortunately, the Quarry was unable to contact City of Quincy Director of Parks & Forestry Executive Director Chris Cassani for comment in time to meet publication deadlines to inquire about the now gone from sight crèche figures.
Questions that would have been asked, but just as likely not to have been answered, include were there any problems with scheduling the rumored to be usual overtime pay paid out around the holidays for working on the major City-owned holiday decorations.

Another question that should also be asked and then duly – for a change – answered is if City Hall might perhaps be planning to use the manger for emergency housing for the homeless or at least for use as another detox facility.
Unfortunately, Quincy Quarry was also not able to reach out to City of Quincy’s Director of Affordable Housing Tom Fabrizo, a long time City Hall glad-hander, for comment in time to meet publication deadlines.
As always, Quincy Quarry will continue to monitor this latest inexplicable situation until some sort of plausible conclusion finally results.
