– News about Quincy MA from Quincy Quarry
Quincy Center civic buildings snow clearing practices continue to vary widely.
Following Friday morning’s powdered sugar doughnut light dusting of snow, the second 25 millimeter deep and apparently paralyzing blizzard of a snowfall to hit Quincy within 8 days, city resources continue to apparently not be available to clear the walkways at Quincy’s very actively used library that is sadly as well as variously a sorely neglected civic treasure.
At the same time, the City’s apparently limited resources were, however, deemed necessary to be used to again as well as all but immediately clear this latest and oh so modest snowfall in and around what is left of the fire-ravaged and much less visited mess that is City Hall.

As such, the so-benefited denizens of City Hall continue to be able to come and go without having to worry about slipping and sliding on their ways in and out to do things slippery.
Quincy Quarry yet again did not bother reaching out to Koch Maladministration spokesmodel Pinocchio Backwalker for comment on this one of many curious spending priority of the Koch Maladminitration as it long ago stopped finding his spin entertaining.

The Quarry also did not bother to reach out to DPW Commissioner Dan “Spanky” Raymondi given its understanding that he continues to be out and about putting miles on his new City ride.
At the same time, care of Quincy Quarry’s sources both high but mostly low, it is understands that the DPW is already receiving supplement shipments of salt at Spanky’s wicked late and over budget half million dollar saltbox playhouse boondoggle.

One can thus only assume that these apparently sorely needed shipments of salt early on during the winter season are necessary after likely often overtime-paid city workers have repeatedly covered the ever increasing mean streets of Quincy with brine and rock salt given merely but the slightest hint of potential wisps of snowfall in this winter – a winter that marks the beginning of a sure to be contentious 2015 mayoral election campaign season.
Plus, arguably gratuitous overtime pay surely help take the sting out of covering expected tithes to Koch Committee campaign fund.
In any event, Quincy residents should continue to plan on yet another long and cold winter during the era of the Koch Maladministration.
That and suffering increasingly massive loads of bovine byproduct sure to be heaped upon them as next fall’s elections approach.
