Quincy Quarry readers are reporting the MBTA seems to be removing the seats on Red Line cars.

Perhaps it’s a coincidence China will be getting a big kiss soon from the taxpayers of Massachusetts to build new trains, but it seems the MBTA is going full Feng shui with the interior of the cars.

Either that or this is another cost saving method.

Old news! Someone needs to get out more often!! Ha
Hi Maryann,
No argument, the T’s seat reduction plan has long been ongoing.
The picture of the T rider bringing his own seat AND the story about the possibility of Chinese built new cars for the Red Line are recent news.
Say hi to Gilligan!
