Lost but now found: Quincy Massachusetts Mayor Thomas P. Koch back after being MIA care of COVID-19 infection.

After weeks of Quincy Quarry Mayor Koch’s COVID-19 update YouTube videos had been on hiatus as well as by extension himself also otherwise out of the picture, Mayor Koch announced that he was back to work after being out sick with a case of COVID-19 and then time stuck in quarantine at home.

Unacknowledged, however, was his failure to only properly announce his medical leave, especially in light of the likely delegation of the management of the City of Quincy to his Chief of Staph Pinocchio Walkbacker for reasons obvious as well as further troubling in the middle of an all but unprecedented public health crisis perhaps statutorily improper.

That and at a time concurrent with the departure of the City of Quincy’s Public Health Commissioner as well as without a replacement in place.

The acting mayor has a long history of acting …
An ill-advised Facebook posting

At the same time, Mayor Koch would appear to have perhaps violated HIPAA by naming his daughter as the source of his COVID-19 infection, not to mention so practicing medicine without a license.

Additionally, it would appear that the mayor likely became infected during the holidays, and in spite of the fact that all manner of actual healthcare professions were advising the public to avoid holiday gatherings with individuals outside of the immediate as well as only celebrating with ongoing resident household members.

And worst of all, Mayor Koch has resumed posting his COVID-19 update YouTubes on the City of Quincy website but inexplicably not yet to the City of Quincy Twitter feed per past typical practices.

In any event, one can only hope at this point for a proper remote presentation of the impending State of the City speech by Mayor Koch even if the speech, especially as it will likely yet again be rife with self-congratulatory bloviating as well as the talking up partial truths arguably misconstrued as faux whole truths.
