Hillary feels the Berne in Indiana and Republican Texas Senator Ted Cruz yet again gets toasted.
In yet another upset in a state primary where she was leading in the pre-election polls, Bernie Sanders pulled off yet another come from behind win over Hillary Clinton in yesterday’s Indiana Democratic Presidential primary election.
Bernie had been running around 4% to as much as 13% behind Hillary in the polls leading up to election day, only to end up winning by a bit over 5%.
Clinton is in danger of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory here. But it would hardly be the first time, would it?

Conversely, Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz was yet again trumped by Trump and decided to bow out of the race.
That and later the last man standing opposite Trump, Ohio Governor John Kasich, also bowed out of the race.
For years I’ve maintained that Mrs. Clinton cannot be beaten but she can easily beat herself. Do you see what’s happening now?

In the meanwhile, London voters are heading to the polls today to elect a new mayor and the final pre-election polling had British-born Muslim and relatively liberal Labour Party member Sadig Khan enjoying a comfortable lead over his Jewish Tory opponent Zac Goldsmith.
