– News about Quincy MA from Quincy Quarry News
Quincy has commenced clearing snow from residential sidewalks – at least for some residents.
Exactly when this surely expensive and carefully targeted effort finally commenced as well as who all have benefited are difficult to determine.
The difficulties include that neither is Quincy City Hall ever forthcoming nor is even Quincy Quarry able to cover all of the innumerable curious goings on in the Q.
In any event, Quincy Quarry staff happened upon a considerable number of pieces of excavation equipment as well as many large 14 wheel dump trucks clearing Russell Park on Monday night.
So numerous were the pieces of equipment and so busy were the thus obviously not city workers that the Quarry crew on the scene was lucky to both cover the story as well as then escape the scene without injury.
Readers should also note that this under cover of darkness operation was the (at least, ed) third such major clearing of Russell Park since The Blizzard of 2015.
On one hand, the third time apparently as well as finally proved to perhaps be the charm; on the other, many more of the increasing mean streets in the Q have barely received even but minimal clearing to little other than narrow goat paths.
In any event, given the considerable effort expended to clear Russell Park, Quincy Quarry is endeavoring to discern just which resident(s) along the street has juice with City Hall as it is all too clear than many, if not most, local residents do not have any such influence.
Quincy Quarry readers can rest assured the Quarry will not rest until it finds out who has “The Juice.”
